About The Role

Banjo’s is excited to be opening a BRAND NEW STORE! We’re currently looking for a disciplined and approachable Assistant Production Manager to join the team at Banjo’s Warragul.

Leading the Production Team, you’ll be producing high quality, freshly baked goods as well as assisting the Production Manager with managing the daily operations of the bakery. If you’re a confident leader who takes pride in their work – we’d love to hear from you!

We’re open 7 days a week, offering a variety of shifts between 1am and 4pm, including weekends and public holidays; giving you the opportunity to gain diverse experience and enjoy a flexible work-life balance.

Key Responsibilities

  • Produce great tasting baked goods, fresh every day
  • Ensure the Production Team achieves Banjo’s high-quality product standards
  • Assist the Production Manager to manage administration, including budgeting, ordering and rostering
  • Effectively communicate with the Sales Team
  • Follow Banjo’s established WHS practices to ensure you and your team are always safe at work

What We’re Looking For

  • Confidence, with a positive attitude
  • You take pride in your work
  • Experience producing quality baked goods
  • Experience managing and supporting a team
  • Reliability, with good organisation and communication skills
  • A team player, who loves a challenge
  • A Cert III in Baking or equivalent
  • Willingness to grow with us
